Kulick was introduced to bowling at age 3 by her parents Bob and Sharon Kulick, both of whom are life-long bowlers. She started competing at the age of 4. At 16, Kulick earned a place on the Professional Women’s Bowling Association tour (in 1992) after winning the PWBA’s Northern Ohio qualifying tournament. Kulick completed her college education at the University of Akron, where she was a member of Delta Zeta sorority.
